Anti-money laundering obligations of real estate agents (AML/CTF) (1 CPD)

From 1 July 2026, real estate professionals in Australia must comply with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF) laws for the first time. This one-hour online course helps agents and property professionals familiarise themselves with the new requirements and understand what they mean for everyday practices. Based on AUSTRAC's official guidance and the Real Estate Program Starter Kit, the course uses plain-English explanations and real-world scenarios to build confidence around the key concepts — including customer due diligence, risk awareness, and reporting obligations. Whether you're a sole operator or part of a larger agency, this course is a practical starting point for getting your business ready.

Unconscious bias  (2 CPD)

In today's diverse and dynamic real estate market, understanding and mitigating unconscious bias is essential for fostering inclusive practices and building trust with clients and colleagues. Throughout this course, participants will explore the concept of unconscious bias in the workplace, equipping them with the knowledge and strategies to recognise, address, and mitigate biases that may impact their interactions and decision-making processes.

This 2-hour course will provide practical tools and techniques to mitigate unconscious bias in daily processes and practices. From adopting inclusive language and behaviour to implementing fair and transparent decision-making processes, participants will learn the neuroscience behind biases and the strategies to create environments that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within their real estate agency.

Understanding the cultural diversity of clients  (2 CPD)

This 2-hour course will help you develop practical cultural competence skills to communicate effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse clients, their families, and the broader community. By strengthening your approach to inclusive communication, you’ll be better equipped to meet client expectations, deliver professional service, and build lasting client relationships.
